The main focus is resilience, the ability to bounce back from adversity and “bad” situations. Very often the situations we consider punishments, or failings are actually the process clearing out for new stuff to flow in. Yes it can be painful and irritating and piss you off. Make you doubt yourself and your beliefs and abilities, but maybe these things need to be focussed on and enhanced, trusted and embraced.

A lot of hard-hitting but loving info today. I have already said a lot, so let’s keep this simple.

We seem to be still dealing with aspects of “clear-seeing” and looking a little deeper, but with the added indication that new or deeper understanding is needed and only possible if we stop and take a breath before it is too late. New love in some aspects may be blooming too!! So that could be fun.

Our cards this week are very focused on our emotions, perhaps jumping on the full-moon energy from last night, so let’s get into this, shall we?

Our central focus is the Crown Prince of Cups. Traditionally the Queen, the Crown Prince is more emotionally balanced than the King, and can be very supportive and compassionate, but also controlling and smothering.

Our central focus this week is celebration, community, revelry, friendship etc. A reminder to celebrate the joys of life as well as we experience the pains of life. Remember that it is a cycle, we have “good” and “bad” times, and it is just as important to celebrate as it is to experience sadness and pain.

The trick it is to not “get stuck” in either scenario.

This week’s central focus is experiencing loss, hardship and adversity. We have been programmed to think that if you live a “good” life, you should not experience “bad” things. This is total BS and often leads us down some very dark and scary holes as we berate ourselves for not being “good enough”, “holy enough”, or “deserving enough” of some external force’s expectations of us. And so we perpetuate this cycle further and further downward into despair.

The central energy for this week is the Crown Prince of Swords, reminding us to maintain our boundaries, think before we act, and to assess the integrity of our sources of information. Balance our emotions and our intellect, only when the work together can we move forward, to use one more than the other will take us in circles.

Firstly, our energy focus or main thought for the week is Contemplating Action. Considering the action we want to take carefully. Making sure our actions are based on our truth, understanding that our truth is not necessarily the absolute truth, but an insight into reaching it.

Our readings recently have been very focused on taking action; our Knight of Pentacles appears this week to remind us not to take hasty or drastic action, though.

Yes, we need to start making changes in our lives, but not without some forethought and trust in ourselves and the bigger picture, whatever you may perceive that to be.

Goodness me, what a place to start, the Three of Swords, the card of heartbreak, emotional turmoil, grief, sorrow and trauma.

As our central card this week, it is a little scary at first glance but it carries a strong reminder too. A reminder not to wallow in our pain and suffering, but to use it as “manure” in the garden of our experience. Take a moment and reflect of the pain and suffering in your experience, see what comes up strongly, then face and handle it.
