Hi there

Time for some Wednesday Wisdom. Apologies, I am a bit late this week.

Just a reminder that the summary is posted at the beginning, so if you need a quick overview, it is there. The full wisdom and knowledge is in the detailed breakdown, and I encourage you to take a breath at some point and read it. Time is a consideration sure, but your understanding and soul are important too.

The process of the reading when I am doing it is to do the individual cards first, then bring them together, so that would be the ideal way to look at this. I present the summary first because people asked me to because they couldn’t wait in their busy day to read the whole thing when it arrives.

Overall Summary

Our readings recently have been very focused on taking action; our Knight of Pentacles appears this week to remind us not to take hasty or drastic action, though.

Yes, we need to start making changes in our lives, but not without some forethought and trust in ourselves and the bigger picture, whatever you may perceive that to be.

Remember that ego creates separation, and spirit brings people together. This is why it is sometimes important, when you have things that you need to separate from, to focus on yourself and your needs, but when the stuff that you have left behind is gone, then it is time to access spirit to bring things that benefit you towards you. See cycles in everything!

Supporting us in this process is the Loving Woman, reminding us of the feminine energy of nurturing and support, unconditional love and acceptance. If it is not available outside, that is because it is not available inside. That is where everything starts, so go inside and find the love and acceptance withing yourself, then no-one can truly burt or reject you, and you will be more primed to find it outside of yourself too.

Also supporting us is a reminder that we are all, every one of us, on a path of our choosing, and while we may consider other paths as evil or even hateful, that is not our path of our duty to fix. Each person finds their path to joy and bliss in their own way. Some by experiencing themselves as the exact opposite first. Allow others their path without judgement.

This does not mean you have to stay in their path though.

What it does mean, is, to quote an old adage, “if you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it is yours; if it doesn’t, it never was.”

To ground our process, we have the card of balance and a reminder to stop hiding and share our bounty. Actions we can take here are paying attention to our life balance. Are we emotionally, spiritually, physically and mentally balanced and grounded? If not do something about it.

Notice I said balanced not totally focused on one or the other. We are composite beings, and to be balanced, we need to be aware of all aspects of our lives and be able to process and use them in a balanced and calm manner.

Trust yourself and the people around you enough to share your gifts and talents. You can’t expect your best job, partner, financial situation, or friends to find you if you are hiding away. Your ideal partner isn’t going to drop-through your ceiling and land on your lap! You need to at least open a door or at least a little window for them to come in without injuring themselves or you.

Hope this helps you – have a blessed week!!

Card by card explanation

Central energy focus
The StJinx Arcana: Knight of Pentacles

In a predictive reading, the knights bring messages related to their suit – in this case, Pentacles or the world of work and practical, physical endeavour.

In a reading like this one, they represent a quest for something, a movement towards something and, in this instance, a warning related to excessive haste and knee-jerk action.

Our handsome knight is very much a physical being. However, he has trained long and hard in the spiritual understanding of things and is fully capable and ready to put these spiritual truths into action.

He reminds us that, even though true power is in the soul, it is not only useless if it is not embodied in the physical realm, it is also dangerous if not applied with patience and trust.

He is ready to bring his spiritual goals and hard-won knowledge into the physical world, and his message is for us to do this too, not with unthought-through haste and fear, but with carefully chosen words and deeds.

Our knight is a man of action, not harried and hectic, but calm and measured. He respects others’ processes and thoughts but is also not afraid to question his own and others’ paradigms and processes.

He is practical, reality-driven and patient. He understands hard work and isn’t afraid of getting his hands dirty. He is productive and understands the importance of routine in balancing his spiritual processing.

Be the change you want to see is a spiritual anecdote often quoted; this is a time for that mindset in our lives.

Embody your truth and spiritual awareness and share openly your insight and understanding in a calm, honest and forthright manner. In a way that your listener can understand it

Earlier on in my path as a spiritual teacher and healer, I often fell into the trap of expounding my knowledge and wisdom in fancy words and unreachable language to appear more “mystical” or “knowledgeable”, and the people who didn’t understand me were just not ready to hear me.

I encouraged questions, but heaven help the person who challenged me!! I felt no remorse letting them know that they couldn’t understand it anyway and that they needed to do a lot more work until they were ready for this “advanced” level of thinking

Admitting I didn’t know something was NEVER an option, I learnt to smile generously – and maybe a bit condescendingly – and say things like, “good question”, and move quickly on, pretending it never happened.

In time, I discovered that this is purely ego-based and arrogant. What point is my insight if I can’t help people understand it? I used to think that speaking fancy thoughts and language made me important to appear all-wise and all-knowing and protect my own ego.

As I grew and experienced more, I realised that if you have knowledge that others are intimidated by or can’t “get”, it is my responsibility, as a teacher, to help them build a bridge from what they know. It is pointless shooting them down in flames; it helps no one and harms people too.

It is not denying my integrity to meet them where they are and gently guide them to a place where they “get it” by themselves.

When I was attuned as a Reiki Master I was told something very important, and it is only in the last few years that it has started to be something I can fully embrace. “A true master is not someone who has the greatest number of people following them, but the one who leads others to their own mastery.” This has become a guiding principle in my life.

What is supporting this process, what processes can we use to help us here?
The Quantum Oracle – The Loving Woman: tender-hearted femininity

We all have a different balance of masculine and feminine energy within us. The balance is unique to each of us and does not change our physical gender manifestation.

She is appearing here to remind us of this. The world we live in is largely focused on processes and pursuits more natural to the divine masculine energy.

Action and doingness ahead of beingness. Our lady is here reminding us to be more gentle and less aggressive in our processes and expressions. It is safe to be vulnerable with people.

If the situation calls for vulnerability, then open up and let people see your truth. If they take advantage or harm you, they are not your people – simple!

The Teachings of Abraham Well-being Card Deck: We are all working toward the same goal: Joy

Leading on from the Loving Woman, Abraham reminds us here that we are all on the same track and process.

Even those we think are our “enemies” or who hurt us. They are just doing it in different ways, healing and expressing their own pain and fear. Sometimes that pain and fear hurts others – don’t judge them, you do it too.

Fear, pain and suffering have been “misdiagnosed” in our modern view of the world as a sign that someone is “bad” or “evil” or our enemy. This is not the case at all.

All these things we consider “bad” or “evil” or “punishments” are really our higher selves getting us to pay attention. Nothing gets our attention more than stubbing our toe when wandering aimlessly – it gets our attention very quickly.

Unconditional love can sometimes mean saying no, or removing yourself from someone’s life to guard your own peace and joy. Trick question: is it peace and joy you are seeking or protecting, or is it hiding in your comfort zone to avoid pain? Something to consider?

Another thing to remember is that no natural life is created in light; life is created in darkness. Look at a tree, it germinates underground, it reaches toward the light sure, it also stretches deeper into the darkness too. In fact if the root system is not firmly in place underground in the darkness, getting fed by the darkness, the tree can not grow too big, or if it tries will be blown over by the smallest breeze?

Bonsai is a good example. The roots are kept small so that the tree remains small not so? So only focussing on the light and hiding from your darkness keeps you small and weak.

How can we ground this learning into our experience and move forward?
The Psychic Tarot: Balance:

Traditional card – Justice. Between the Wheel of Fortune (Destiny) and our friend the Hanged Man (Sacrifice), we have Justice or, in this deck, Balance.

The Balance card reminds us to maintain not only our work/personal balance but also the balance between the physical and spiritual realm.

This may involve some lifestyle changes and realising that what you see in the world around you is just a reflection of what is going on inside you.

So, maybe those things we were talking about last week that need to be re-assessed, maybe this is the time – stop putting it off. It is scary to start with, but once you take the first step it becomes simpler, and you start experiencing more joy and peace.

You can only make good decisions when you are physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually balanced.

The Desiderata
By Max Ehrmann ©1927

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
