Hi there
Time for some Wednesday Wisdom.
Just a reminder that the summary is posted at the beginning, so if you need a quick overview, it is there. The full wisdom and knowledge is in the detailed breakdown, and I encourage you to take a breath at some point and read it. Time is a consideration sure, but your understanding and soul are important too.
The process of the reading when I am doing it is to do the individual cards first, then bring them together, so that would be the ideal way to look at this. I present the summary first because people asked me to because they couldn’t wait in their busy day to read the whole thing when it arrives.
We have some interesting things coming out this week.
Firstly, our energy focus or main thought for the week is Contemplating Action. Considering the action we want to take carefully. Making sure our actions are based on our truth, understanding that our truth is not necessarily the absolute truth, but an insight into reaching it.
Discuss your thoughts with loving, supporting people, not people who are pushing an agenda of their own. People often ask me how to tell the difference between spiritual truth and ego truth. Intuition and fear, accepting guidance from “real” or “fake” people, avoiding narcissism, and it all comes down to a very simple concept, one I use daily to guide my actions.
Spirit, truth, intuition, love and loving friends will guide quietly and gently, with a quiet strength in maintaining their own boundaries and peace, allowing you to find your own way, and your own joy.
Ego, fear, narcissists, control freaks and others like them coming from a fear base will scream and shout, force and manipulate, give you ultimatums and threats of punishment, and encourage mindless submission to their beliefs and objectives. Cancel culture is a perfect example of this.
So, if you want to know what is going on, it is quite simple, are you being supported or threatened, encouraged regardless of outcome, or manipulated to achieve things “they” need you to?
Take time to feel your way through what feels like the most loving thing you can do for yourself first, and do that. It may bring pain to others, but if you are functioning from love, that pain will bring their growth, too.
Appreciate the things that make you feel good (not at the expense of others), this will encourage more of that. Remember who you truly are and the universe/god/spirit/whatever will provide more of that. Remember who you really are at a soul level, your body naturally provides the best vehicle for that from birth, and express that. If your body is not “feeling” it, neither is your soul.
Just a quick note here regarding the “at the expense of others” parenthesis in the above paragraph. This also includes supporting and encouraging others’ delusional behaviour. Living in the truth of your soul includes expressing the truth at all times. This is integrity.
Our modern society has trained us to be people pleasers and hide the truth to spare other people’s feelings. All this does is support the delusion, deny them their own truth and growth, and erode your commitment to your own growth and empowerment. If you are still too afraid to say no, that is fine, just stop saying yes.
The most disempowering thing you can do for yourself and others is to support, allow and ignore the delusional realities of our society, particularly in the social media sphere.
The only way we can empower ourselves and transform the world around us is by facing the truth, the real truth, the ugly truth – not our preferred truth, or forced truth, but the real truth. And then move on and heal, forgive and release from there.
Piling ice-cream on top of a bowl of shit just hides the shit for awhile, sooner or later you will get a mouthful of yuck, it will also taint and destroy much of the ice-cream too. Rather see, face and clear the shit, wash the bowl, and enjoy the ice-cream down to the last scoop without fear!
Hope this helps – have a blessed week!!
Card by card explanation
Central energy focus
The StJinx Arcana: Two of Wands:
Progress, new ventures, planning, discovery and taking risks.
Contemplating action – this card reminds us not to rush our decisions, but also not to mind-fuck ourselves by trying to make predictions to ensure a “sure thing” or definite success – nothing is a sure thing, and there is no reason why it should be either. No success is 100% successful, no “failure” is 100% a failure either.
We are trained to see things as black/white or right/wrong. This is not accurate, every right has a bit of wrong in it, and every wrong has a bit of right in it – this is the meaning behind the yin-yang symbol. A reminder that in truth, everything is a balance and the part contains the whole etc.
Sometimes we also need to stop “resting on our laurels” so to speak. What has been accomplished, has been accomplished – it is done and in the past, so what’s next?
This is the secret of reasonable sacrifice. Releasing the aspects of your previous experiences that have produced unexpected results, and making different choices. Forgiving yourself and others and moving forward to the next adventure.
Your accomplishments, both the positive ones and the unexpected “failures”, are only useful in that they give you encouragement that you can do what needs to be done, and mirrors of where different choices could be made.
If you are feeling panicked, hopeless, disorganised or afraid and overwhelmed; take a breath and make a decision or a choice to do one little thing to change that.
Organise your sock drawer, clean out your old emails, give away or sell the books you haven’t read in years, organise your desk. The physical action will help clear the mental fog too. Journal, write down your feelings, use the letter writing process we discussed before.
All is not lost, you just need to take a step back and contemplate the next step.
What is supporting this process, what processes can we use to help us here?
The Quantum Oracle – New, supportive connections: Networking opportunities
Have a look around you, are the people you rely on or keep in your space supportive and encouraging? It is time to step out of your comfort zone, do something creative, take an art class, go to the opera, do things that feed your soul, and you will meet others on the same wavelength. People that enjoy the same things you do and can support you as you support them.
The Teachings of Abraham Well-being Card Deck When I appreciate, I feel so very good.
Feeling good is our natural state of being. This is why things seem to go to hell when we don’t feel good and just seem to get worse from there as we move further away from joy.
Appreciate the things around you, they are there. Celebrate others’ successes, appreciate your health, celebrate your successes, no matter how small.
When you do this, you change your energy and your focus, and then you can start seeing things that are working and so draw more of those into your life.
How can we ground this learning into our experience and move forward?
The Psychic Tarot: Fertility
Traditional card – The Empress. Between the High Priestess (Intuition) and The Emperor (Authority), we find The Empress or, in this deck, Fertility.
Let’s translate that – when we stay connected to our intuition, and follow it, we bring the truth of ourselves into the world. By doing so we reap the rewards and abundance of the universe, and this gives us the authority to stand firm in our own strength and power.
The same energy that created the earth, the animals and plants and everything else is part of you; the growth and expansion you have created is starting to manifest around you. The seeds are starting to sprout. This does not mean it is time to rest – not yet. Keep nurturing yourself and focussing on what you would like your life to look like, it is on its way.
Divine Nature Oracle Deck: Remember who you are
An elephant apparently never forgets, so we are reminded here to remember who we are, the beauty of our souls and being before it was corrupted by the hopes and fears of others.
We are not powerless or weak; we are a divine spark of the creative energy that created everything, and we are the creation that is created.
Remember to honour our own nature, not the façade our politicians, activists, priests, parents and others force us to wear to promote their agendas.
First look to nature, is how you feel reflected there; look at history, are there patterns in your personal or the world’s history that lead you down dark and scary paths. Step out of these, or at least work on it.
Look to true science, not internet and social media pseudo-science. Use your logic and intuition, and the truth will show itself.
In recent years, the truth has become more and more difficult to discern. There is a difference between your personal truth and the actual truth.
Real truth is true regardless of faith, culture, belief or any other structure – look a little deeper and it will show itself.
The Desiderata
By Max Ehrmann ©1927
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
