I have been thinking about 2 statements that have become very cliched in the last while, but still remain true and I think we need to really think about them in more depth:
1) The definition of insane is doing things the way you have always done them and expecting different results.
2) When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Weekend Wisdom: 04 January 2026

Welcome to 2026! The SoJournal this year is all about trusting the journey and part of that is being able to understand cycles. Cycles start and cycles end, this is the meaning of life. It is important when considering cycles to understand that the cycle will go on, it just slows down and becomes painful if you consciously or unconsciously hold on to it.

Weekend Wisdom: 23 November 2025

This week we are being confronted with big cycles. The central card, Death, brings into focus the cyclical nature of our experience, everything has a beginning and an end, as we approach the end of 2025, this is a reminder to not only prepare for a new cycle, but also to look at the ending cycle, release, forgive, and move forward leaving the baggage behind.
