Hi there

Time for Weekend Wisdom – with a twist this week, I think you can draw your own conclusions, so there is no summary this week.

The below is based on my knowledge, experience, and interpretation; feel free to disagree and question me, we both grow that way.

Card by card explanation

Central energy focus
The StJinx Arcana: The Emperor:
Leadership, structure and stability

The Emperor is the 5th card in the Major Arcana.  After The Fool (0), has begun his journey, first encountering the Magician (1) and learning to explore his gifts, then the High Priestess (2) where he learns the deeper meaning of his skills and the emotional access required, he comes across the Empress who teaches him how to anchor the emotional and spiritual aspects of his gifts into physical reality and the the Emperor who focusses him on managing, and fully embodying control of his physical environment.

The Emperor is all about leadership, “the buck stops here”  mentality, fully in command and control of his environment and able to handle anything that comes his way.

He reminds us today to centre and ground ourselves and take care of our physical environment, delegate where needed and make decisions and choices with confidence.

Even if we feel a bit out of sorts and pushed around by “fate”, he lets us know that we are fully capable of taking control of our situation. We are never victims of fate, only of our own fears and limited thinking.

Let’s pull our heads out of the clouds, stop dancing around in the daisies, and focus on making our physical environment work.

It is all fine and dandy to meditate on the meaning of life and secrets of the universe but it is a lot more comfortable and successful to do so from a silk chaise that a sack of rocks on the ground!

What is supporting this process, what processes can we use to help us here?
The Faerie’s Oracle – G. Hobyah: Imaginary fears, Unreal hazards, realistic caution.

Hobyah is one of the Farie Challengers, who’s job it is to bring us face-to-face with our fears, denials, inner traumas, insecurities, delusions and confusions. These faeries are the ones that stick their feet out in front of us to see if we are paying attention, test our alertness and awareness, insight, knowledge and wisdom.

His focus is on our fears, particularly the imagined ones, he is the monster in the closet that terrifies us at night, until we switch on the light to see nothing there.

He helps us to sort the imaginary fears from things we should be cautious about. Just like our fears, the slightest bit of confrontation, and shining the light of wisdom, and they disappear.

He reminds us today to stop mind-fucking ourselves, things are not as dismal, dark and scary as we think they are, take a breath and remember we never create anything in our lives we can not handle, we have the skills, the time, and the experience to turn this around.

The Quantum Oracle – Fragmented Energy: Too many pieces

This card is telling us to stop, and get things organised. Our energy is all over the place, fragmented and driving us nuts. Even our own picture is damaged, the image of who we are. We seem to be striving against the current but unable to move forward because our attention is all over the place.

Time to stop and think, have you taken too much on, drop some things, mind all confused with what needs to happen, stop, take a breath and write it down, pro cons list, mind dumping, get it out of your head and look at it objectively and calmly.

You can not forge ahead if you are looking backward, particularly at your failures. Shake yourself off and focus, one step at a time and before you know it you will be there.

How can we ground this learning into our experience and move forward?
The Enchanted Map: Strength – Your strength comes not only from your own inner being, but also from your trust in the unseen

We are a lot stronger and more capable than we think we are. Things are hectic right now, and we may feel that the mountains in front of us are insurmountable, how often have we thought that, and climbed them anyway, finding the way forward and even thriving.

You can thrive through this current situation, breathe, and trust.

Whether you believe in a particular god or goddess, angels, devas, guides, the universe, spirit or even your own higher self, trust it to guide you forward, to energise you and strengthen you – you got this!!

Sacred Geometry Oracle Deck: Transmutation: Dynamic change

Many people focus on transformation, but it is in transmutation that true power emerges.

Transformation is the process of changing your form, often with external influence. Transmutation on the other hand is an internal process focussing on expressing your true self, your mind and being shifting and changing to something you will not believe possible.

This is the process that the previous cards are leading up to, complete and dynamic change, beyond anything you have experienced to date, breathe, trust it, and trust yourself.

Even if it feels like you are fucking it all up, you aren’t, breathe and embrace your new reality.

Have a fab week!!

The Desiderata
By Max Ehrmann ©1927

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
