Apologies for missing last week … let’s see what knowledge is in the cards this week.

The bulk of the wisdom is in the individual descriptions, even if you just read the summary for now, make time to read the individual interpretations, it will help understanding the full message.

The below is based on my knowledge, experience, and interpretation; feel free to disagree and question me, we both grow that way.

Card by card explanation

Central energy focus
The StJinx Arcana: Eight of Cups: Hopeful Discovery

Our central figure this week is walking away from the eight cups standing stable and complete behind him, nothing is falling over or spilled.

Even though there are eight cups, the way they are arranged gives the sense that there is one missing to complete the collection. The one on the top right is also a slightly different colour to the others.

In front of him is the moon, he seems to be drawn towards it while still glancing backward.

So, what are we looking at here?

There comes a time on the various cycles and journeys of our lives where we need to let go of things that, while perfectly balanced and whole, no longer serve our purposes so we must leave them behind.

Much like a child maturing to a point where they leave home and start their own adult processing. They need to leave the tantrums, and expectations of being provided for behind as they learn to make their own way in the world.

As we approach the end of 2025, maybe we should relook at what worked for us and what didn’t, who held us back with negative or controlling intentions, and who encouraged us to be mature and handle our own stuff, thus empowering us, not disabling us.

The space indicating the “missing” cup could indicate that the cycle it not quite completed yet, but we need to look for ways of reaching completion on the cycle.

Or the space could also indicate that, when we move to the next cycle, we shouldn’t discard the past totally, keep the insights, and growth points in the cycle, and leave the ones that hold us back in the past.

Look back at the past with love and forgiveness, don’t carry the resentment and anger through with you to the next cycle.

What is supporting this process, what processes can we use to help us here?
The Faerie’s Oracle – Nelys the Alchemist: Inner transformation, irrevocable change

Nelys is back, she is part of the Faerie Guides and Guardians grouping, directly guiding humans as we embrace our special talents and express our truth in the physical world.

She is an alchemist. Historically alchemists were focussed on turning lead into gold.

Many spiritual interpretations of this concept take it to mean that they take the lead (heavy physical experience) and help you to find the gold (enlightenment, joy and peace) in your everyday experience.

Once the process of alchemy is complete it is impossible to go back to where you were, this is a good thing.

Work with Nelys when you are battling to find the meaning and joy in your current experience.  Very often we experience difficult situations that make us think we are “off-track” but often these “detours” are what bring us to a better place than we anticipated.

It may not feel like it now, but you will look back at this point in your life and realise that, although you are not necessarily getting what you think you want, you are getting exactly what you need for the transformation to take place.

It is also useful to remember that coal only transforms into a diamond through time, under extreme pressure. Don’t resent the challenges of life and hold onto them, allow them to convert your lead into gold, your coal into a diamond.

The Quantum Oracle – A Creative Endeavor: Soul Expression

In our left-brained predominantly masculine worldview creativity and creative endeavours are often reduced in importance and value, when they are really the soul food that feeds our being.

As a supporting card to the Eight of Cups – hopeful discovery; the Creative Endeavor card encourages us to connect with the creative side of our lives to guide is our new cycle.

Allocate 1 hour a day to do something creative and inspiring. Write and article, draw a picture, knit, crochet, dance, cook, whatever makes your heart sing. It is fine if you don’t know what that is, just play with a few things that interest you, if you feel “lighter”, happier and more joyful afterwards, you are doing it right.

If not, try something else. If your favourite creative endeavour becomes a chore, do something else for a bit, or do what you do differently.

How can we ground this learning into our experience and move forward?
The Enchanted Map: Deep Freeze: Everything has its season, now is the time to rest.

Shifts and cycle changes can be draining and even exhausting, remember to take time out too.

This allows your energy to replenish and feeds your soul.

Don’t rush into the next cycle, breathe and allow it to flow naturally.

Sacred Geometry Oracle Deck: Dancing Through Eternity

This card makes an appearance again. As much as I have said that we are our own focus, that the answers lie within, that we are the only ones that know our own truth. What is also true is that without the reflection of relationship, we lose the sense of existing.

The spiral continues into eternity, as it spirals outward, the centre spirals inward. The dance of relationship gives us our sense of existing. We only exist in the reflection of ourselves in others, and vice a versa.

This card also highlights the importance of intimate, committed relationships, supporting and growing together into eternity with mutual respect and support.

It may seem dark and gloomy right now, but this card reminds us that once the metamorphosis is complete, and we can express our true being, then others, maybe even significant others, that fit with us will be drawn to our truth.

Once we remove the masks, and show ourselves, warts and all to the world, then our true friends, lovers, partners can see us, are drawn to us, and can join us in our dance through eternity.

Wednesday Wisdom is a free service, and you are welcome to share it if you wish, just please respect my work and share it in its entirety.

Summary

As we move through the cycles in our lives we often need to move away from things, situations and people that bring us down, harms us and try to contain us or mould us into their image of who we are “meant to be”.

Our past experiences are important, but they become a problem if they become baggage. Allow energy to flow through you life, keeping the experiences that enhance your being, forgiving and release anything that doesn’t without guilt.

Supported by Nelys the Alchemist and the Creative Endeavor cards, allow the pressure and stress of life to create a diamond not crush you, ask Nelyse for guidance and assistance if you need to.  Do something inspiring and creative. You don’t have to be Mozart or Picasso, just do it and appreciate your creation.

To bring these concepts into the material experience, we need to take time to rest and recuperate regularly.  If you are approaching a deadline and your thinking is all over, take 15 min to go for a walk, get some fresh air, meditate, or just breath.  The break will give you the clarity and knowledge to embrace the project and increase it’s value.

Remember also to draw from and share the experience with your people. Nurturing supportive relationships and experiences shares the burden, provides inspiration, and raises the energy of all involved.

Have a blessed and fabulous week!!

The Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
