Hi there.
Time for Weekend Wisdom, lets see what we have in the cards today.
As a reminder, the reading focuses firstly on the individual interpretations of the cards, and then a summary at the end.
The bulk of the “wisdom” is in the individual descriptions, even if you just read the summary for now, make time to read the individual interpretations, it will definitely help understanding the full message.
The below is based on my knowledge, experience, and interpretation; feel free to disagree and question me, we both grow that way.
Card by card explanation
Central energy focus
The StJinx Arcana: The Star
The Star reminds us that, no mater how “dark the night”, there is always hope, we are always guided, and we are never alone.
Balanced between the physical and spiritual, empowering both the water and land, with compassion and support, The Star is always around to guide us.
Guidance can come in many unexpected ways, but it is also important not to search for signs, signs are only from divine sources when they are unexpected.
Finding a feather in your lounge when you have a cat who hunts for example, is not necessarily a sign from spirit!!
Reading a new novel, a sentence suddenly answers a question you have, or shifts your perspective, that’s a sign.
True signs will also come with a feeling and no doubt – if you doubt it is a sign, it probably isn’t.
Signs and guidance come from your intuition, so practicing intuition exercises can help you identify them, guess how many robots you will stop at on the way to work, what colour shirt is your boss going to be wearing, etc., the outcome of a sports match.
Take 4 Kings and an Ace out of a deck of cards, or get Zena Cards, shuffle them and lay them face down, pick up the Ace, if you are wrong, try the “reflected” position – so if you picked the card on the right, try the card on your left, maybe your brain “swapped signals”, before you start, centre and ground yourself, then pick – you can hold your hand over the cards and do it that way, maybe your intuition is more tactile. Learn your unique way of communicating.
Your intuition/spirit will also never guide with fear – more about this later – only with love.
When you feel alone or doubtful, go outside and look at the stars, let your mind clear and heal your soul.
What is supporting this process, what processes can we use to help us here?
The Faerie’s Oracle – UnDressing of a Salad: Balance, avoiding extremes, achieving the impossible, being impossible.
Part of the Faerie Guides and Guardians grouping who’s mission it is to devote their time and energy to directly guide humans and help us develop our special skills and talents. They also love bursting ego bubbles if they think you are getting too carried away with your own self!!
When you dress a salad, you add mayo, lemon juice, herbs etc, it is a very fine balance of flavours and textures, so imagine having to un-dress a salad – sounds impossible right?
Lucky for us, we have Adroito, the Faery of Doing Impossible Things, he is also the Faery of Being Impossible and the Faery of Avoiding Extremes – sounds impossible – of course it is!!
He is attempting to juggle and balance magical balls, Sally is helping him (above), while the gnome in the centre, looking in both directions with a wise smile on his face, knowing that keeping things in balance is impossible.
Achieving balance is tough, but it doesn’t stay balanced for long, something – like the little imp on the left – zooms past upsetting the balance, sometimes a ball slips, sometimes one drops. Old balls wear out, and new ones must be created, but our friend Androito is prepared for that.
Everything is integrating and disintegrating all the time, it is a natural process, and one we must allow to flow.
The balance changes constantly, but it is still balance.
The Quantum Oracle – The Quantum Oracle – Fear: Worry
Like guilt, worry is a useless emotion. It does no good for anyone, disempowers you, and destroys the present.
In the card there is a beautiful woman, dressed in black and surrounded by clouds of fear, while behind her is her stately home with all the comforts she desires.
She is so consumed by fear that she is oblivious to everything except her fear and worry.
When we are afraid of the outcome of something, we add the potential for the outcome to be what we are afraid of – remember energy flows where your attention flows. Are you spending energy on what can go wrong? On someone being angry with you? On people hating you for who you are? Stop!
How can we ground this learning into our experience and move forward?
The Enchanted Map: Metamorphosis – You are in the process of deep and beautiful change.
Well now, look at that – Metamorphosis is back!!
Metamorphosis is the ultimate type of transformation; it requires part of you to literally die so you can be reborn. Just like a caterpillar must die in its cocoon to become a butterfly, and the butterfly must struggle to break the cocoon open so its wings are strong enough to fly, a major shifts in our awareness we need to die to our old self and embrace a new “truer” version of ourselves.
The world is in chaos right now; there is no doubt about it. This is the process we are involved in right now, but before the “new vision” can become a reality, the old one has to die, and to make sure that we do not recreate the same vision with different faces as before, we need to see clearly what is being shown as the masks fall away.
Sacred Geometry Oracle Deck: The Labyrinth – the spiritual path
The Labyrinth is a beautiful meditation to do, and if you can find a Labyrinth, I urge you to experience it.
The labyrinth shown here is the Chartres 13-round labyrinth, named after the labyrinth in the centre of the Chartres Cathedral in France that is open to the public for pilgrimages and meditation/prayer.
You can also enlarge this image and use your finger to follow the path – I once found a metal meditation labyrinth that I still use. Imagine it has walls taller than you are and all you can see is in front and behind you.
The Labyrinth is not a maze – a maze has many paths, dead-ends, traps and other situations, a labyrinth is on path, you can not get lost, you can not miss your goal, and you can not move off your path, you will always end up at your centre.
I find it a beautiful meditation on life and process. When you enter the labyrinth, you seem to be heading directly to your goal, then suddenly you veer off, losing sight of the end goal, but if you keep going, shortly you are facing it directly again, until, just as you feel you can touch it, you scoot around it, and then it seems to go off in the opposite direction, it even appears at some point you are almost back to the beginning, but not quite. Very often, you cannot even see how close you are to the centre, but you can feel it.
Then backwards and forwards you go, always skirting the centre but never quite making it until, all of a sudden it is right in front of you, with nothing in between you and you have it.
You maybe tempted to jump the wall on occasion, but when you land on the other side, you won’t know which way to go and may end up back at the beginning and have to start again.
When you feel that life is confusing, or that your goal is unreachable, remember the labyrinth, keep going, trust your intuition and follow the process.
Remember too that there is a hidden process, once you have reached the centre of the labyrinth, you have to follow the path out again. Just like growth and life, once you achieve one thing, the next becomes visible.
Many people use the concept of a labyrinth to “prove” fate, that your path and experience is pre-determined and fixed.
This is not the case, you make the choices to enter or exit the labyrinth, to trust or fear the process, or you can leave the labyrinth altogether and choose another one. No, not another life, another process, but understand the experience will be similar, the walls may be different colours, but the walls remain the walls.
In my understanding of creation and the concept of the creator, I perceive the creator as an energy that put processes in place, giving us the power to create, and then leaving us to it so to speak.
So, when we look at the world and wonder “How could god allow this?”, maybe what we should be asking is what am I doing, feeling, thinking to draw this into my experience or awareness?
Wednesday Wisdom is a free service, and you are welcome to share it if you wish, just please respect my work and share it in its entirety.
Summary
The central focus this week is The Star, reminding us that we are always supported, never alone and always have hope.
Supported by UnDressing of a Salad reminding us to balance our lives even if it seems impossible. Fear showing us that to focus on fear, doubt and worry, is not going to benefit us, but to rather focus on what we do have, what we can be grateful for, and to allow ourselves to live in our present moment, anticipating the future, not fearing it.
To bring this into our physical reality, we have Metamorphosis assisting us to let parts of us that no longer serve us to die and be released, and the Labyrinth showing us that the path may not always be straight, in fact it very rarely is, not to give up, trust the process and use our intuition to keep going.
The goal may be closer that you think, or much further away for that matter. Don’t “short-cut” the process, trust it, and take your next step confidently with trust and anticipation. If it is not the goal yet, no problem, take another step.
Wishing you a fabulous, hope-filled and joyous week!
Lotsa love Kxx.

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
