Oh my goodness, Wednesday Wisdom nearly didn’t happen!! There is a lot of stuff happening this week in my life, as well as 2 big energy shifts.
The lunar eclipse and blood moon on Sunday and yesterday’s 9-9-9 “portal” – 9th day of the 9th month in a 9th year (2025 is numerologically a 9th year (2+0+2+5=9) – both events bringing things to a close and allowing through a moment of breathing and appreciation as a cycle ends. This theme is carried through the reading too.
Back to what happened this morning, I have a huge amount of work that came in, and I was so focussed on that, and we will also blame my cleaner for coming today not tomorrow – that’s my story and I am sticking to it!! – it totally slipped my mind until now (10:30 am) – oops – sorry bout that!
As a reminder, the reading focuses firstly on the individual interpretations of the cards individually, and then a summary at the end.
The bulk of the “wisdom” is in the individual descriptions, even if you just read the summary for now, make time to read the individual interpretations, it will definitely help understanding the full message.
The below is based on my knowledge, experience, and interpretation; feel free to disagree and question me, we both grow that way.
Instead of letting anger and resentment poison our interaction, let’s grow together, even if that means travelling different paths.
Card by card explanation
Central energy focus
The StJinx Arcana: The World:
Completion, accomplishment, achievement, travel, fulfilment, wholeness, integration, or incomplete, lost, distracted, distraught, not making choices and decisions, instability
The World is the final card in the major arcana and brings the Journey of the Fool to a close. It signifies having gone through a process, experience or cycle, and that cycle coming to an end.
Regardless of whether this has been a positive of negative cycle for you, it is now at a point where it is coming to an end.
The thing about endings though is that they are also a beginning, and a point of creation, so what does this mean?
For many people, particularly people going through a tough time, will experience this as a relief, and ending a positive cycle is often met with trepidation.
There are a few things that are important at the end of one cycle and beginning of another.
Take a moment to breathe, celebrate that you have come through the cycle, congratulate yourself or experiences and “lessons” learned and processed, even the tough ones.
Also, identify situations, and experiences you could have handled differently, forgive yourself for producing unexpected or unwanted results, and make a decisions to handle things differently going forward.
As we know, on different levels one cycle may be coming to an end, but other cycles still go on, so don’t “rest on your laurels” for too long, there is still a big world out there.
And don’t forget the new cycle beginning. Use the experience of the past, not to wallow in, but as a springboard to a different, more wanted experience.
I was talking to a special someone (no not that kinda special – I wish!! Someone who recently popped back up in my life with some exciting ideas and prospects – more on these over the next while) and a perfect image came to mind as it often does.
Instead of carrying your past like rocks in a backpack weighing you down, rather dump the rocks on the ground, pile them up, stand on them, and see things from a different perspective, find a different way of going forward, embrace a new perspective, and go forward in trust.
What is supporting this process, what processes can we use to help us here?
The Faerie’s Oracle – Gawtcha: Sudden Shock, Unexpected Events, Rude Awakenings
One of the Faerie Challengers who bring us face to face with our fears, denials, delusions, traumas, confusions and misbehaviours. He is also known as the Out of the Blue Faerie.
There you are wandering along minding your business and then, splat, Gawtcha gets you from your blind side.
From my work with the Shadow Process, we often need that “smack upside the head” to wake us up to the consequences of our actions.
As many of you know, I do not subscribe to the generally accepted view of karma. Consequences are not the same thing as punishment, just an energetic alignment to the full energy of our intention.
That sounds very airy fairy so let me clarify what I mean, and this will also illustrate why we need work on and maintain our awareness and stay as centred, grounded and focussed as we can.
What we have been taught as karma, punishment of “bad” deeds etc is nothing more than the full impact of our manifestation. When you send out a manifestation or “Rocket of Desire” as Abraham calls it, you not only send out the conscious vision of your desire, but also the unconscious consequences you, at some level, deserve as part of manifesting that desire.
So, as an example, if you believe that money is the root of evil, not even consciously but even if it is a subconscious part of your agreement with reality, then when you do manifest the financial windfall you are hoping for, you also manifest the consequences you sub-consciously expect.
So, if you believe that when you have money, people demand stuff or expect stuff from you, then suddenly people will be asking for favours, or there will be an extraordinary number of charities and beggars in your space. If you believe that rich people are selfish, mean and arrogant, you will start becoming selfish, mean and arrogant yourself.
This also highlights the damage that labels can cause. Labels can be good in the beginning of your experience, when you are confused and looking for support or a place to “belong” etc. That label will also restrict your behaviour and the way you present yourself to the outside world in terms of what that label represents.
In my experience, when I embraced the “gay” label and looked around me, I saw that the gay people that were around me, or available as role models – not that many in the good old days lol – were effeminate, bitchy, screaming queens, often fearful, hidden and supressed etc. so I started unconsciously behaving differently to “fit” that label.
I grew my nails, changed the way I spoke, grew my hair long, (yes, I did have hair – a lot of it actually!!!), the way I acted etc.
As I went through my life though, I realised that not all gay men are like that, and in fact I was being inauthentic to myself by projecting that image.
As I matured, and fully accepted my sexuality myself and what was important to me, I was able to see the label as an initial stepping stone in my process of self-acceptance, but that letting the label go and living my truth, instead of what people expected of me, I became a lot calmer, dropped my radical activist mask, and became more approachable, accepted and embraced, without even trying, it just happened.
Back to Gawtcha, the rude awakening can take many different forms and can be a “good” experience too. A realisation of a new vision of yourself and who you are after the shocks and stresses we have been discovering the last few weeks.
After the unexpected shock or “disaster”, we are always left with a shift in our awareness of ourselves, maybe need to let go of what we thought defined us, and embrace a new definition of ourselves.
An important thing to remember about Faerie is that, although they may hurt or harm us, they never intend harm, their job and focus, particularly Gawtcha’s, is for our expansion and growth.
See how he peeks through his fingers, the mischievous little hellion, he knows he has done something that is going to hurt, he has done it out of love but is still scared of our reaction to him as the instigator.
The Quantum Oracle – Milestone: Acknowledgement and celebration
Haven’t we had this one before? I think we have. The Milestone card reminds us to celebrate our achievements and even perceived failures as part of what we have created ourselves to be and experience.
Even unexpected, unwanted, and painful results are results and have experiences and creation at their centre.
I am remembering something I often tell students when discussing manifestation, if they do not believe they can manifest, or have the power to manifest.
I say to them, “Well look how well you have unconsciously manifested a world where all your fears and pain are a reality, all you need to do is change your focus to create an experience you enjoy?”
The milestone reminds us to celebrate achievement; even unwanted achievement can help us move forward. Another Abraham quote; “You have to know what you don’t want before you can get clarity on what you do want.”
How can we ground this learning into our experience and move forward?
The Enchanted Map Into the Unknown – trust and all will be revealed
Into the Unknown reminds us that, often, we are presented with experiences and paths that appear dark and mysterious, and above all unknown. We can not predict the outcome of the path because it is not in our “safe zone”.
The “knee-jerk” reaction to this experience is to panic, or suppress our fears, and normally run in the opposite direction.
We are reminded here that our paths have led us here, and even though it may be frightening, the most apparently terrifying path is the path that will have the greatest reward and growth, yes maybe pain and sacrifice, but an exponential growth and change too.
Trust that you have been presented with this opportunity, not only because you created it, but because you can thrive through it. Redefine yourself, surrender your previous mindset and step through the portal – you ultimately will not regret it!
When you surrender your fears and trust the process, then and only then can you see clearly and embrace your new reality.
Sacred Geometry Oracle Deck: Hexagon: Beauty and perfection in perfect balance
The card is dominated by the image of the hexagram (connect every second point and you will see the hexagon, or “Star of David” representing perfect balance between two apparent “opposites”. Male and female, dark and light etc.).
It has a strong balance and structural look, the background looks like a beehive indicating sweetness, beauty, symmetry etc. Also shown is what is know as the Seed of Life, and the Genisis pattern, the initial “flower shape” created when drawing the Flower of Life and ultimately Metatron’s cube that contains the Platonic Solids as the structure of all life. It also represents the 6 days of creation mentioned in the bible, surrounded by the original circle as the seventh day of rest.
To draw this as a meditation, Centre and ground yourself. Using a compass, start by drawing a circle. Keeping the compass as it is, go to the edge of what you have created (the outer line), place the pin of the compass on the line and create another circle. Pause and reflect on the “birth portal of light”, where two become three that is created by intersecting the two circles (Vesica Pisces),
Go to the edge of what you have created, the first intersection of the two circles, and create the same size circle again, contemplate how that circle has changed the energy.
Do it again, go to the next intersection along the edge of the first circle, stop for a bit and consider how that has changed the energy, do it again, and again, until you have six circles, the next move would be the pin mark of the second circle. The Seed of life is displayed in the centre circle.
If you want to expand it further, repeat the process using the intersection of two circles in the round you have just completed, at the edge of your creation. Each circle and round contains levels of awareness and wisdom, don’t research it, take note of how the circles create spaces within and with out and how they interact and draw your own conclusions.
Very often in the craziness of life we forget to step back and appreciate its beauty and symmetry.
This is your reminder to step back, drop your judgement of right and wrong, good and evil, and look for the balance and symmetry all around you.
Take a walk in nature, hug a tree, listen to good music, meditate on listening, mindfulness exercises are also helpful.
Wednesday Wisdom is a free service, and you are welcome to share it if you wish, just please respect my work and share it in its entirety.
Summary
Righto, let’s get this together into some kind of coherent concept then, shall we? The central focus this week is about the completion of cycles and beginning of other cycles. Take a moment to breathe and appreciate the completing cycle, be grateful for not only the “positive” things that made you happy, but also the “negative” ones that have shifted your world.
Everything is a cycle, some big, some small, some significant, some you don’t even notice. This week take a breath and allow the world and yourself to just be for a moment. Yes your life is shifting, but this is not only scary and intimidating but can also be exciting and lead to new discoveries about yourself and the world around you.
Our supporting cards this week, Gawtcha and Milestone, remind us that every shock to the system wakes us up, and we also need to celebrate these as milestones and experiences that ultimately expand our awareness of ourselves, sometimes despite our selves. Acknowledge, accept, embrace and celebrate the shifts and movements in your life.
To ground this learning or experience, we need to release our fears of the unknown, our definitions of ourselves, our absolute belief in some of our agreements and truths, surrender and allow yourself to embrace new versions and visions of yourself.
By doing this you will be able to see the balance, beauty and perfect symmetry of your experience, and find the joy of being a part of this crazy, insane, whirlwind we call our physical experience!
Hope this helps – have a fab week!!

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
