Hi there

Time for Wednesday Wisdom.  To be frank, after last weeks one, I was a tad nervous to do this today, however, if we got the message last week and are willing to face the trials of life head on with honesty and integrity, all I can say is “Let’s do this!”.

Just a reminder, the below is based on my knowledge, experience, and interpretation; feel free to disagree and question me, we both grow that way.

Instead of letting anger and resentment poison our interaction, let’s grow together, even if that means travelling different paths.

Card by card explanation

Central energy focus
The StJinx Arcana: Page of Swords: Emerging Vision: New ideas, mental agility, communication, inspiration, thirst for knowledge, sneaky, nosy, instigator, self-serving, thoughtless action, creating danger.

The Page of Swords is discovering the elemental power of air, thoughts and mental agility.  He is young and sometimes impetuous, not having evolved to the wisdom of the King or Consort as yet, and he will make mistakes as he learns and grows though experience. He can be impulsive at times, and very focussed on the end result, so can trip over unseen obstacles, but that is ok, that is the only way to gain wisdom and experience.

Sometimes unruly and arrogant, he will ignore more mature wisdom, and act before thinking, not that he doesn’t think at all, but he has a very quick mind and will not always look that carefully before he leaps.

For me he reminds us of the impetuosity of youth.  Remember the days when we believed we could change the world and make it a better place, and ended up sacrificing our peace, getting our validation from the behaviours and acceptance of others?

He reminds us that passion and purpose are great to have and follow, but to make sure that our validation comes from ourselves not the world.  The world is a big, “bad”, impossible for one person to control place.

As we mature, we realise we have very little control over others and how they think, act and behave. This is why the activist mindset is so dangerous when allowed to run amok.

The world is full of pain and suffering, and we often feel blessed that we have what we have, but the problem comes in when we forget the hard work and sacrifices we have made, and allow ourselves to be guilted into giving it away to people who are not prepared to make any sacrifices and expect everything to be given to them.

Our page is looking back to the past and looking a little harassed by it, sometimes over-thinking and over-analysing, jumping to conclusions and rashly acting on them. Things are not always what they appear to be, and a more logical, reasonable approach may be called for.

In youth we think that sacrificing ourselves for others is the way to goo.  Through hard lessons and being abused as we mature we realise that helping others is all good and well, but are you really helping them or enabling them to be victims?

A good question to ask yourself before running headlong into sacrificing your own abundance, joy and love into a bottomless pit of dependency. Our ego’s like people being dependent on us, makes us feel valued – again – external validation when in fact making people dependent on us disempowers them, and drains us.

Once you realise you cannot change the world around you, but when you change the way you experience it, the world changes around you by itself, you experience a mind-blowing peace and un-fuck-with-ableness.

What is supporting this process, what processes can we use to help us here?
The Faerie’s Oracle: The Maiden: Auspicious beginnings, birth, growth, joy and hope

One of the Sidhe (shee), the lords and ladies of faery – the Sidhe dance to mediate the primal forces of the Singers of Faery and bring them into physical manifestation.

The Maiden is the Lady of growth and joy, her smile melts away troubles and stress, she is born again every morning and sees the magic and delight in everything. As she is technically a child though, she also needs nurturing, caring and love, much as our joy needs conscious attention and care to blossom.

It is very easy to allow the stresses and tribulations of life to get us down, but The Maiden reminds us that with just a little care and attention, we can experience innocent joy too.

The Maiden brings new beginnings, new passions and new ways to experience joy and growth.  Remember that is the early stages of growth, there is also a need for protection, shelter, and guidance.

Look for areas in your life when growth is happening, and nurture it. List your hopes and dreams, the joy may be hiding behind other things, change your focus and bless the growth around you. It is there, look for it.

The Quantum Oracle – Family: Children, childlike joy

This card could indicate a new addition to the family, although in this type of reading it more likely indicates the need to remember the innocence and joy of childhood.

Spontaneity, and having fun, doing something creative. A friend of mine reminded me yesterday about the power of music to affect and maybe even generate or create new emotions in us.  When the “world is too much with us”, so to speak, music can often help us to shift that. It doesn’t remove the obstacle or situation, but it allows us to experience from a different perspective and maybe that is what is needed here.

Maybe listen to or sing some nursery rhymes, play some childish games, jump in a puddle or two.

Create something, write a poem, compose a piece of music, listen to well-written music – did you know that what we generally refer to as “classical music” is meticulously crafted to stimulate, generally, more “positive” emotions.

Find some good performances, switch the lights off, and listen to some.  I promise you it will help.

How can we ground this learning into our experience and move forward?
The Psychic Tarot: Rejoice in Celebration

All the darkness and pain you have experienced recently is starting to clear and you will come through it and be able to celebrate again, find new ways of experiencing your joy and passions.

Whan we are in the midst of turmoil, it is sometimes impossible to see that this too will pass, like everything does, your life may be totally different, but the sun will shine again.

You don’t have to see it or believe it yet, but one thing you can be sure of is that the Wheel of Fortune turns, and it will turn for you again.

Sacred Geometry Oracle Deck: DNA – conscious evolution:

I decided to use a different deck based on Sacred Geometry today, the Numerology deck I was using is great, but not that visually stimulating. Introducing the Sacred Geometry Oracle by Francine Hart.

The first card we have from this deck is DNA, conscious evolution. Our DNA forms and contains all the information that makes us who we are as human beings, and individuals. It appears though that it is not as static as we believe and can be changed.

As humanity evolves, and our own awareness evolves, apparently the DNA structure changes, very slightly, but the changes are now observable. Have to do some more research on this myself but it is interesting, isn’t it?

According to Quantum thought processes, our DNA can be consciously changed through higher vibrational frequencies like love and compassion.

When we act from the heart in unconditional love and compassion, we change, not only our physical experience, but the evolution of the universe and the earth as well.

Wednesday Wisdom is a free service, and you are welcome to share it if you wish, just please respect my work and share it in its entirety.

Summary

Okey, dokey, dookie, let’s get this summarised. Our central focus today is emerging vision and action and a reminder that youthful passion is all well and good, but can be misguided and unfocussed, so by taking a more mature approach and focussing within rather that comparing ourselves to others and their experiences, we consciously focus on changing the way we see things and experience the crazy world around us.

The Maiden and Family, encourage us to embrace childlike joy at the simple things in life, the beauty that is all around us. Be transported by beautiful music, stunning sunsets and pure joy and the miracles that grow around us every day.

By doing this, we can find reasons to celebrate even in the darkest times, and also change our reality and our experience of it.

Hope this helps – have a fab week!!

The Desiderata
By Max Ehrmann ©1927

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
