Hi there
Good morning!! So events are done, and stormy seas calming to a mild turbulence, I am baaack!! Lets see what is “on the cards” this week
Just a reminder, the below is based on my knowledge, experience, and interpretation; feel free to disagree and question me, we both grow that way.
Instead of letting anger and resentment poison our interaction, let’s grow together, even if that means travelling different paths.
Card by card explanation
Central energy focus
The StJinx Arcana: Three of Swords:: Facing the pain – heartbreak, sadness, emotional turmoil, grief, sorrow, trauma, mental fog, delusion, defeated spirit, ignoring reality.
Ouch! Welcome back, Kevin – take that! When I was shuffling the cards, this one literally launched itself out of the deck and flew across my desk with a snap! So, I guess we are going to have to deal with it!
And that is the whole message of the card. Often when emotional pain hits and we face disappointment, emotional trauma, death, devastating news etc. we try to supress it, cover it with fluffy sayings and affirmations, lock it away pretending everything is ok.
The Three of Swords is here to remind us to get our heads out of our arses and face the truth. Yes, it is painful, yes it is horrible, yes it is going to change things in your life dramatically, but it is only in truly cleaning a wound, squeezing the pus out so to speak, that the wound can begin to heal.
Another way we often deal with tragedy, loss and devastation is to run around looking for ways to “fix” it, solve the problem, come up with a plan.
Neither of these options really works long-term though. So, what do we do when devastation hits, and it will.
Step one is always STOP! Take a breath and accept that this has happened, we can’t pretend it hasn’t – it is real, and it is now part of our reality, and we must face it. The time for pretence is past.
Get out of your head! Feel your way through it, experience the emotions and the loss. You cannot come up with reasonable ways forward if your emotions are in a state. Even if you can totally supress them, they continue to bubble beneath the surface and will still affect your thinking.
Face the possible outcomes. Look at what this means to you personally, what are you going to miss out on, what sacrifices are you going to have to make, work your way through them, and once again, feel your way through the experiences.
Grieve the losses you perceive, they are real, but they are also growth points, life shifts and watershed moments. You have survived and even thrived through every one you have already experienced, and although this may seem like the worst thing that has ever happened to you, you though that before, and look how you came through those.
These are big life changing things here, they can change the way you see yourself and the world around you dramatically.
Maybe think of worst-case scenarios, again feel your way through them, once you face the “monsters”, they lose their power over you. Stop fighting the truth and re-evaluate yourself, your world and your truth.
What is supporting this process, what processes can we use to help us here?
The Faerie’s Oracle: Geeeeeooo the Slooow: Slowness, waiting, patience.
One of the Help-line group of faeries, Geeeeeoo doesn’t understand why we rush through things, and must have a solution and plan right now. He watches mountains erode and grow, water flow past a bank as it slowly melts away and reminds us that sometimes time is the only thing that can fully heal a situation.
He is also the master of clarification and understanding through experience.
He advises us to slow down. Watch a few sunsets, allow nature to comfort you with its never-ending cycles of birth, death and rebirth.
He reminds us that the situation we are experiencing is one that needs time to mature. Let it be. Don’t panic!
When you “stop and smell the daisies” so to speak, you see the healing herbs growing in their shadow. When you watch the sunrise, you experience the world created life anew everyday.
Breath, take a chill pill and just be …. Slowly but surely things will clarify, follow your guidance a step at a time.
The Quantum Oracle – Discovery: Unexpected happy developments.
The Discovery card shows a gold prospector finally finding gold after a long time of dedicated and painstaking, back-breaking work.
Again, reminding us that time is important, and dedicated effort required. A time of refining our skills and learning new ways to do things.
The reward is at hand though and your years of effort, work, pain and suffering will pay off soon and in unexpected ways.
Now is not the time to rush though, keep grinding, allow the process to flow, and experience every step fully, and the rewards will appear.
How can we ground this learning into our experience and move forward?
The Psychic Tarot: Hope traditionally The Star
We are reminded here not to fall into total despair. One of the, often ignored, elements of the story of Pandora’s box, is that what remained in the box once she opened it and let out all the demons and bad stuff out, was Hope.
Will this situation change you – yes it will. Will it shatter the very foundation of your being – yes it will.
These shake-ups are necessary for you though, you have attracted them into your life by your thoughts, feelings and manifestations, those you are aware of and those you aren’t.
Prickly statement that – does anyone want “bad stuff” to happen to us, no, do we draw the possibility of it entering our lives through our own lack of self-worth, our self-hatred, our belief that we don’t deserve love and respect – yes, we do.
Every experience, like everything else in our reality, has a positive and negative aspect.
The Hope card reminds us that no matter how dark, scary and impossible the situation may seem, there are ways through it, and we will look back it this once it is done, and it will be a source of pride for us, reminding us how we succeeded through this and the total new life we received because this happened.
Numerology Guidance Cards: Manifestation:
This card reminds us that everything in our lives is a result of our conscious and unconscious manifestation.
This is a reminder that we can very often do without, thank you very much, and in some cases can trigger the victim response.
Ok self-exposure time – damn I didn’t really want to do this, but it is a perfect example.
So I mentioned my emotional “fall-over” two weeks ago, it was a little more than that, so in a nutshell.
Over 20 years ago I was raped and beaten by my boyfriend at the time, ended up at the emergency room, and when I reported it to the police, laughed at and basically told I was a pervert and deviant anyway, so what did I expect.
During my massage the previous Friday, I had a “full re-experience” of the rape, not because my therapist did anything “wrong”, but something in the situation triggered me and I went through the trauma all over again. I was a bit of a mess as you can imagine.
And anyway, hey I am a healer and teacher and all that stuff, I had dealt with it and had released it!! Well, I guess not!
So the last few weeks, amid a frantic workload, I have been trying to follow the advice in these cards, funny that they should appear like this after the fact to confirm that what I was doing is on track – lol.
Taking a step back, breathing, feeling the emotions again, not losing hope or belief in myself, and working on understanding how and why I drew that experience into my life at that point, and why it triggered again.
I realised that much of it had to do with my own self-worth, and self-hatred. My belief then, and I have been saying and thinking similarly now, that I couldn’t be loved, that people only became intimately connected with me to use me, that my soul was not worth preserving, that a life of service meant sacrificing my own love, joy and sexual enjoyment to benefit others, and many other things.
The last part of the message in this card made itself abundantly clear – until you accept your role in the situation, can identify the thoughts, feelings and beliefs you hold, forgive yourself and others in the situation, and acknowledge your own power in creating the situation to begin with so you could find and experience your truth and power getting through it – you will continue to be a victim.
We are NEVER victims of circumstance, others, a power-hungry and vengeful god, goddess or anything else.
The creator energy created the manifestation process, and left us to use it. We use the process to draw these things into our lives, so that we can find our truth, our power and our joy, not in-spite of the trials and tribulations of life, but because of them.
Wednesday Wisdom is a free service, and you are welcome to share it if you wish, just please respect my work and share it in its entirety.
Summary
Holy moly, macaroni!!! How is that for a welcome back reading, my goodness!! Lets summarise and get an over-all picture of what is going on here.
Our central energy focus is “face the pain”, stop ignoring it, stop hiding from it, stop pretending it doesn’t affect you – it does and it is time to face the monsters. Only when you face the monsters, do you see the truth of who and what they are.
A very good example of this is a brilliant movie I watched many years ago and use on my shadow course too, Earthsea. This reading also explains the core of the shadow process, stop hiding from the truth of who you are, embrace everything about yourself without judgement and only then can you find your true power!
The supporting cards, Geeeeeooo the Slooow & Discovery remind us to stop and take a breath, trust the process, shift and change direction, if necessary, but persist and continue through the hard work and pain, the gold is right there and will appear soon.
To ground this process and bring it into physical manifestation, we have Hope and Manifestation itself. Do not lose sight of your joy, no matter how dark the world seems, it is only through the dark that we can experience the light. Keep focussed on your thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Trust the process and do not stay stuck in fear, panic and depression. This too will pass, and though the world on the other side may be very different, it sparkles with new possibilities!
Hope this helps – have a fab week!!

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
