Hi there

Oi vay! So, Wednesday Wisdom almost became Thoughts for Thursday.

What a day!!  Anyway, time to take a moment for ourselves, a few deep breaths and let’s connect to the currents of destiny – yea, yea, I know – getting far too fantastical, flowery and fluffy, but what the hell – let’s do this!! We also have a new deck this week! Exciting stuff! 😊

Just a reminder, the below is based on my knowledge, experience, and interpretation; feel free to disagree and question me, we both grow that way.

Instead of letting anger and resentment poison our interaction, let’s grow together, even if that means travelling different paths.

Card by card explanation

Central energy focus
The StJinx Arcana: Knight of Swords:
Ambition, success-driven, fast-thinking, action-orientated, direct and intellectual. Aggressive, misleading, untrustworthy, strategic, playing politics, reckless.

For our central focus this week, we are visited by the Knight of Swords. The suit of swords focusses on the intellect, and the knight messages and action.  Our Knight of Swords is highly intelligent, impulsive, ambitious, sometimes aggressive when he is challenged and he reminds us not to get too carried away with our own ambition, to take a quick breath and consider the consequences of our actions, but not to allow that to slow us down or take us off our course.

He also reminds us not to act unless we have a thorough plan or at least final destination in mind.  He works with intention too so make sure when you do decide to act, that your intention is clear and focussed.

Honesty and integrity are also highlighted here. Are the actions designed to manipulate others to “do your bidding”, or to grow your own experience?

Now is the time to act on those plans you have been working on for ages, one step at a time, but do something today!

What is supporting this process, what processes can we use to help us here?
The Faerie’s Oracle: The Laume: Unconditional giving, unconditional receiving

One of the Fairy Guides, and Guardians who’s job it is to directly guide us out of our stuck places and develop our special gifts and talents using our own natural magic. They help us expand our potential and transcend our self-imposed limitations and fears.

They, like all faeries, use humour, very often we don’t find it amusing, but they do.  They teach us to laugh at ourselves and our over-thinking and mind-fucking.

They particularly do not have much use for the human construct of dignity, they see it as pomposity, and they will burst your arrogance bubble whenever they can.

The Laume is about giving and receiving and the flow that is created by making sure that when you give it is unconditional, and especially when you receive, it is unconditional too.

Many of us battle to receive, and when we do, we create a “debt register” or “pay back” scheme in our minds.  This causes many problems as we then become “beholden” to the other person and can often be “forced” into doing things we wouldn’t otherwise do.

When you give or receive unconditionally, there is no debt involved, only the joy of giving or receiving with an open heart, feel the gratitude and let it fill your energy field.  Gratitude that you are able to give, and gratitude that you have and will continue to receive.

This creates a flow of abundance and joy that will change your life.

Important note here – NEVER give, if by doing so you deny yourself, or out of guilt, or a feeling of “owing”, always give and receive with an open heart in gratitude.

Also, something to remember here is not to over-compensate.  As Jessica quotes in the guidebook; “A pinch of fairy dust in the right place at the right time works wonders. Big clouds of fairy dust just makes people sneeze”

The Quantum Oracle – Loss: Separation

A man stands at the shore, with a frayed rope in his hand, watching his beautiful sailboat sail away from him.

There are a few things that stand out here for me.

Firstly, if you don’t pay attention to maintaining your sailboat and its moorings, the rope that ties you together will fray and eventually snap.

Secondly, sometimes there is nothing you can do but watch something or someone you love move away from you and out of your life.

Loss is part of life, and it is also necessary as the loss makes space for something else to come in.

It is important to grieve the loss, and go through the process of mourning it, but once you have done that and are able to let it go, then you need to release it so that new energy can float into your life.

Whether it will match the energy that left, or be greater or lesser than, is up to you and how much you grow, heal and release the past.

How can we ground this learning into our experience and move forward?
The Psychic Tarot: Fertility – traditionally The Empress

Geeze this card likes us, I think this is the third time the Fertility card has come up in this year for us.

She nurtures and focusses on growth, holding us and embracing us as we go through our lives.

She helps the seeds we have planted and nurtured to manifest and grow.  Remember these seeds can be “good” or “bad”.  The universal energy does not hold favourites.  What you nurture will manifest – period.

Be patient and provide the best nutrients to your burgeoning new life, and it will appear – it has to – there is no other way.

If what manifests is less than you desire or want, then relook at how you watered and fed your thoughts and feelings, which you paid attention to, and which you ignored, and make tweaks in what you pay attention to and nurture.

Numerology Guidance Cards: Karmic Completion

Our new deck, The Numerology Guidance Cards Deck by Michelle Buchanan, brings some structure into our reading, and some numerology thrown in every now and again is a good thing, I think.

Card no 10, Karmic Completion, is self-explanatory really.  I don’t really hold with the traditional concept of Karma, but in this instance, it relates to the debts we create in our own minds, the punishments and rewards we expect etc.

When we create a manifestation, what we often don’t realise, is that what we believe should be our “punishment” or “reward” is part of that manifestation.  So when it appears in our lives, we also trigger the “result” we consciously or unconsciously believe we deserve.

This is one of the reasons many people don’t believe the that law of attraction actually works, because they are unaware of the judgements etc they sub-consciously hold, that form part of the creation they create.

Card 10 reminds us too that just as one cycle completes (0), another begins (1), and also that the beginnings of the cycle already contain everything needed to complete the cycle.  It is only the experience that is missing.

Summary

OK, so what is all this about then?

Our central focus this week is taking deliberate action, after considering the plan and deciding on a course. The Knight of Swords reminds us that we can’t sit around and think all day, we must do something to move forward and achieve our goals.  With considered action, success is assured, do something today,

Our supporting cards this week remind us of the power of unconditional giving but also being able to receive without condition and creating “debt” emotional or otherwise. And sometimes, no matter how much we love something or someone, sometimes they need to leave, sometimes the situation has gone too far to save, and we need to let it go.

Mourn it, heal the wounds and allow new things/people into our lives when we are ready.  With the influence of the Knight of Swords, there is an inherent warning to not mope around too long` though.

To ground this into our reality, we have Fertility and Karmic Completion. Fertility reminds us of the old adage; you reap what you sow.  A tired cliché to be sure, and one that is also often misunderstood.  Look around you as your creations manifest, they are doing it all around you as cycles complete and new cycles start.

Work out what nourishes your creations and do more of that, and what didn’t nourish your manifestations, do less of that. You are at the root cause of your life, no-one else – take responsibility for your choices and decisions and, if they don’t suit you, change them.

Hope this helps – have a fab week!!

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
