Hi there

Time for some Wednesday Wisdom, so let’s see what the cards have for us this week.

Just a reminder, the below is based on my knowledge, experience, and interpretation, feel free to disagree, and question me, we both grow that way. Instead of letting anger and resentment poison our interaction, let’s grow together, even if that means travelling different paths.

Card by card explanation

Central energy focus
The StJinx Arcana: XXI – The World: Completion, accomplishment, achievement, travel, fulfilment, wholeness, integration, lost, instability.

Our central focus this week is again talking about cycles, and a reminder to embrace all aspects of the experience.

This is the final card in the Major Arcana of the tarot deck and represents the culmination of a cycle, or project, or experience.  It is about reaping the rewards from the experience. These rewards can be a double-edged sword.  Some may be joyous and others not so much.

When you get to the end of a cycle make sure that all the loose ends are tied up.  What worked, what didn’t. Are there “debts” incurred, make sure the books are balanced.

Celebration is also in order, even if you didn’t get everything you planned for, that is ok, you have the knowledge, wisdom and experience that you can use in your next experience.

Be gentle with the judgement of yourself here.  No, you are not perfect, yes you made mistakes, but at the end, you have come through the experience better, stronger and wiser than when you went into it.

What is supporting this process, what processes can we use to help us here?
The Faerie’s Oracle: The Singer of Connection: Spiritual Connection, Balance, Empathy

One of the Singers of the Realms, who are what people often refer to as deities, angels etc. The represent and hold the “big” energies that underly and permeate the entire universe. Concepts like Unity, Hope and Ecstasy are embodies in the Singers. They are universal, unbiased and non-judgemental.  They send their energy to saint and sinner, good and bad, rich and poor alike.

The Singer of Connection carries the energy if inter-relation and reminds us that everything is connected, truth is truth, love is love no matter where it appears, or how it is actioned.

He is the web of light that connects everything and brings unity and wholeness to often disparate parts.

The Singer reminds us of the unity in everything around us, to be objective and accepting of everything as part of the process and cycle.

Not to judge, and to place value on everything, even those things you disagree with.

Our world is one of polarity, without the polarity it would not exist.  The Singers exist at a level outside of that polarity, but they also give us an understanding that opposites are not always in opposition but actually support each other.

Some examples here. Dark is not the opposite of light, it is the absence of light, evil is not opposite of good, but the absence of it, dear is not the opposite of love, it is the absence of it.

So, in fact, darkness, fear and evil do not actually exist, however, we need to experience them as opposites so that we can understand light, love and goodness.

One of the greatest dis-services that the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) inflicted upon the world is the concept of the Great Enemy, The Evil One, the one that needs to be fought and conquered for someone to be “good” instead of being the natural reminder of the “lack” of a quality we need to focus on. This “war” has kept people fighting for centuries instead of focussing on their own awareness. It needs to stop now.

So when you are in darkness, fear, or evil, accept it, embrace the fact you are there, and find the light, love, or goodness – light the match yourself if you have to. Make a different decision, choose another way.  The way you have always done hasn’t lead you to where you would like to be has it?

Fighting it just means your focus is creating more of it.  The more you fight the darkness, or fear, or evil, the more you “go down” with it so to speak.

Judging brings more darkness as it removes you from the light and often leads you to do very “dark” actions.  Actions that are truly evil, harmful and damaging but you justify by saying it is for a good cause, or for the “greater good”.

When you are afraid of someone or something, bring love into the situation, forgive them and release them, don’t hold the grudges and pain, that just leads to more fear.

For me The Singer on Connection reminds us of the unity in opposition. That all of us and everything has value. This doesn’t mean you have to remain a victim of other’s actions at all.  It does mean that you don’t hold grudges, and you forgive them. They maybe need the experience of you removing yourself from the situation, or defending yourself, to learn the consequences of their actions.

The Quantum Oracle – Behind a Mask: Choosing Self-acceptance

We have discussed masks before, and looked more at the benefits of wearing masks, this time we look at the other side of masks.  The side that means you hide your truth behind self-loathing and fear.

The need for acceptance is a big one in our society, the problem is that when you look for that acceptance from outside, you lose yourself and become a parody of who you are. You become a slave to others’ opinions of you.  Social media and cancel culture is a perfect example of how this can be weaponised too.

Find the acceptance within yourself, and no-one can take that away from you. Embrace the “good” and “bad” equally.  Forgive yourself for your mistakes, regardless of how people act or react.

Speak your truth, hear the challenges to it, truly understand opposing views.  It is ok to be “wrong”, to make mistakes.  That is how we grow, by understanding that maybe we didn’t get the full picture and change if you want to with your new understanding.

It doesn’t make you less of a person to re-evaluate things. There is nothing to be “fixed”, you are exactly who you have created yourself to be up to now.  The thing is, are you happy doing this, truly happy not superficially happy? Does your life bring you joy and fulfilment?

If so, do more of that, if not maybe try thinking differently, trying on different concepts and ideas about yourself.  Ideas are not permanent; they can be changed.

Try not to make permanent decisions based on whims, wishes and delusions you are experiencing now. Embrace those whims, wishes and delusions now if you want to, understand though that they are intangible and can change, and will need to change as you go through your life.

Be honest with yourself and others, always, understanding that what you are being honest about, may also change.

Remember your reputation has nothing to do with you, and is totally out of your control.  Be the best person you want to be right now, people are going to judge you anyway, so let them judge you in your passion and joy rather than you pain and heartache.

This also makes you incorruptible and invulnerable.  People can’t control you if you stand in your truth and not worry about pleasing them. When you stop taking on other’s opinions as your value, then they can try and “punish you with their absence”, but in actual fact, your life is better without them in it.

You are the only you there is or will ever be, be the best you that you want to be, right now, understanding that who that you is may change tomorrow, and that is also ok.

How can we ground this learning into our experience and move forward?
The Psychic Tarot: Rejoice in Celebration

When you rejoice and celebrate, you activate an energy in your life that carries you forward rapidly. Celebrate the big things, celebrate the little things.

If life is dull and boring, celebrate something, truly feel the joy of the celebration, let go of your heaviness for a little bit, you can pick it up later if you must, but put it down for now

When you raise your vibration with joy, gratitude and love, very often you see things differently, get solutions that you never dreamed of. Everything becomes achievable and you can find solutions to previously impossible challenges.

What, there is nothing to celebrate? Crap! Find something!

The number 3 is often used in divine explanations, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Maiden, Mother, Crone, Youth, Father, Sage and the most obvious one, Mother, Father, Child. It is often seen as the number of creation through the unity of opposites as well.

Divine Nature Oracle Deck: Face Your Dragons

Before we can embrace our joy, discover our power, find our truth, we need to confront the parts of us that we don’t like, we need to face our fears, embrace our shadow, see ourselves in truth.

You can not transform that which you can not see.  This is why all the secrets and lies of the past are being exposed.  Hidden knowledge is being revealed, corruption laid bare all over the world.

The fake “virtue signalling” that has been used to manipulate us is being exposed. The lies and corruption in religions and governments, society and families.

You can’t heal a septic wound by hoping it will go away, pretending it doesn’t hurt, or wishing it away. You have to rip off the scab, squeeze out the pus, disinfect it, cover it, look after it and nurture its natural healing process.

The same with life and your emotional and mental well-being.  You can’t truly pretend to be happy by hiding or covering your self-doubt, self-hatred and pain with stuff, wealth, external fame, beauty and acclaim.

You can only be truly happy when you are stripped bare and still like what you see in the mirror.  You can’t lie to yourself, not truly, your essence or soul never forgets the truth no matter what you may cover it, or how well you cover it, or what you cover it with.

Only by unmasking your pain, accepting it, and learning to embrace it as part of who you are, and it is ok, that you can be truly you.

Summary

When I first drew and looked at the cards today, I though, bleh that looks boring, and then I started working with them, and well – much more than met the eye initially!!

So lets look at our central focus for the week, The World, completion, end of cycles, finishing one cycle and starting another. Remember to tie up loose ends, so you can move into the next cycle, celebrate what has been achieved, and workout what needs to change for the next cycle. Sounds simple right, then along come the supporting cards.

The Singer of Connection reminding us that everything is connected, reminding us to look at a bigger picture and release judgement of ourselves particularly, but of others too.

We all have our own path in this miraculous and amazing journey of life.  Embrace yourself in your truth, and take up you rightful place in the dance.

Behind the mask reminds us to express our truth, be honest with ourselves and others, release our fear and self-hatred, anger and frustration regardless of what other’s think. Our reputations have nothing to do with us – people will think what they want to think, you can’t stop them doing that. When you make their opinion more valuable that your truth, then you loose yourself and the joy of life.

To ground the message this week, we need to celebrate our successes, and not judge our “failures”, but face them honestly.  Explore the consequences, so we can take “better” actions in the next cycle.

The Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
