Hi everyone – well all I have to say about this last week is, “well that didn’t go to plan!”, between a sudden influx of new work, and trying to maintain my current commitments, things have been a little hectic!
Not that I am complaining at all – the new work is interesting and exciting, and my current commitments provide stability so I am good – just a little frazzled. Perhaps the Mercury Retrograde a few days ago (17 March – 7 April) also had a bit of an impact too.
Just on that point – Mercury is the planet associated with communication and clear thinking. So (note to self here too), remember to take a breath, carefully consider and feel the truth of relationships and your communication. There will still be conflict but remain calm through the process if you can. Also, try to avoid signing any contracts or agreements during this period.
This week I am only doing the overall reading due to time constraints, so you are going to need to explore the individual cards yourself . On that note, what do the cards have to say this week?

In summary: Starting with the central card, the King of Wands, the general energy this week is all about tapping into the visionary leader within you. The King of Wands has come through the mill, he has failed and come through by focusing on his goals and objectives. Driven by the passion of Fire, he gets what he wants, he also carries the warning to not allow this drive to be all-consuming or arrogant.
Make decisions and choices and keep your passion in check. Remember the Mercury Retrograde will lead to misunderstandings, so communicate as clearly as you can, expect misunderstandings and be prepared to handle them with compassion.
He is supported by the card of Transformation and a reminder that we are a physical extension of divine creative energy, this is a period of transformation. Transformation may also mean the “ripping off” of the past, forgiving those that have harmed you, and releasing them so you can move forward. The past is always important, as the experiences, all of them, have made you who you are today. However this does not mean that your tomorrow has to be the same, or you have to drag all that baggage with you. The past is a reference to what worked for you and what didn’t, you don’t have to repeat it. Only by releasing the unexpected results of the past, can we move forward.
The reading is grounded by Discontent & Boredom and Move. Discontent, stagnation and boredom are often the catalysts to decide to change something in our experience. We are not designed to sit still, much like an aircraft, we are designed to move, to zip off to the next experience and expand our awareness.
When we park off in the hangar too long, we start falling apart. So the Move card tells us to move, take action and do it – traditionally the Chariot, the Move card is about driving forward, and guiding the process, not controlling too much, but guiding and allowing yourself to move forward but your own drive and passion.
I trust this will help you navigate the next week, don’t go into panic mode because things aren’t always sunrise and daisies, accept this as part of the process and look forward to an enhanced experience moving forward.
Hug yourself often this week, you deserve love too!!
