Hi there – time for some Wednesday wisdom – again feedback is really useful, so if you have a comment or question, please let me know.
I am also thinking of expanding it to a mailing list by email, what do you think?
Without any more ado – let’s get on with the reading for this week!

In summary: Our friend, The Hanged Man is back again! Following from Justice and before the Death card. The Hanged Man indicates a period of initiation, suspension and contemplation. Have the changes and shifts you have made in the last while benefitted you or hindered you? Allowed you to move forward or held you back? It is a good time now to take a step back, and centre your focus on what is really important to you. Is it having a positive impact on your current reality? Remember positive impact doesn’t always mean nice and fluffy impact. It could also be painful, but ultimately necessary. The Hanged Man can also represent sacrifice and preparing to shift awareness.
The Hanged Man is supported on the left by The Ascended Masters Card. The number 7 always brings spiritual awareness into the equation. Ascended Masters are classified as spiritual energies that have incarnated on the physical plane and have direct experience of the physical realm. This is very useful for us experiencing the physical part of the spiritual experience and reminds us that although we are spiritual beings having a human experience, we are also human beings having a spiritual experience and we need to fully embrace the human experience too – with all it aspects of joy and pain. This dichotomy can be very confusing. We need to remember that our physical experience is also important and we are not here to change the world, but to experience it with our spiritual understanding. Embracing both the pain and joy without judgment. This card reminds us that we are supported in the emotional and spiritual realm, regardless of who or what we believe exists within that realm.
On the right, he is supported by the Abraham-Hicks Wellness card, “This is a glorious time for me to be on this earth”. Again this reinforces the concept that everything may not be as it seems and that every moment can be glorious. There are lots of shifts and changes happening all around us at the moment, some requiring painful sacrifice, some containing joy. This is a good thing. Let the things, people and passions that have taken you off-course, or distracted you, go, and embrace the new challenges and changes coming at you. This period in the world is crazy and can leave us feeling ungrounded and adrift. Now is a good time to remember that there is a bigger picture out there, one we may not be able to clearly see as yet.
The two supporting cards remind us to “pull our heads out of our arses” so to speak and look around – there is much more out there than in your fear-based perception right now.
The two grounding cards, Partnerships and Alliances, and, Helpless and Hopeless remind us that, not only do we have spiritual support as highlighted by the supporting cards, but this support is also around us if we reach out for it.
You have shifted and changed over the last while, whether you are consciously aware of it or not, and now new partnerships and alliances are starting to present themselves. Remember with all partnerships and alliances there has to be an exchange of energy, be it financial, emotional or other ways. This is the missing link in charitable organisations and why charity creates dependants and drains the givers, there is no reciprocating energy happening, and no responsibility on the part of the “receivers” to earn the charity being given in any way.
Everybody has skills, and we feel a sense of accomplishment when those skills are used. By making the partnerships and alliances a “one-way street” of givers giving to receivers without any action by the receiver creates not only an environment of victimhood and hopelessness for the receivers but also an environment of control and domination for the givers. There is only one way this relationship can end, and that is badly!
While things may look hopeless and you may feel helpless, this is a state of mind more than anything else. It is time to adjust your perception, and your thought processes about the situation. Look at things from a different perspective or angle. When in doubt, take action. We often allow fear and doubt to keep us in stasis. This card reminds us that the universe applauds decisive action, and the only way out of a stagnant situation is to decide to get out. Small actions can have big consequences.
Don’t focus too much on the end goal, put it out there and pay attention to the daily decisions and mundanities of life. Think about walking up a spiral staircase in the dark with only a candle. All you can see is a few steps behind and a few steps ahead, sometimes you may get a glimpse of the top or bottom, but often it is not clear, so focus on the next step, and then the next one and before you know it the top will be right in front of you.
Hug someone – it will make you both feel better!!

The StJinx Arcana: Major Arcana 12 – The Hanged Man
Our friend is back – Waiting, surrender control, new perspectives, contemplation, sacrifice. If you look at the image of the Hanged Man, he is hanging by one leg from a tree. This can relate to the legend of Odin who hung as a sacrifice on the world tree to gain wisdom and insight. Someone being sacrificed, you would imagine, would have a serious look on their face, but our Hanging Man looks happy, even blissful.
Time to relook at our motivations, choices and decisions. Did we achieve our objectives or produce unexpected results? Is it the objective or goal – are we pursuing goals because it is important for someone else that we want to please or impress? Are they based in a delusional reality?
Time to take a step back, re-evaluate and make some changes. Let go of things, people and situations that no longer support you. Sacrifice is painful, but worth it in the long run.
Think about it – the majority of life-changing decisions and choices came from painful situations and deciding to get out of them.
The Quantum Oracle – Ascended Masters:
There are many thought forms, thought entities and energies in the “unseen. When we focus on them, the energy can add depth and understanding to our understanding and interpretation of our reality.
Religions and doctrines like to “exclusivise” these energies to manipulate and control others. In truth this is not the case – the “dark” and the “light” work together to create. Creation is not possible with one missing from the equation. Jesus and Lucifer can work together – in fact there are many doctrines that suggest they are the “dark” and “light” aspects of the same being.
The four masters represented in the card are Jesus (The Dove – physical, mental and emotional healing), Buddha (lotus – greater consciousness and enlightenment), Hilarion (the all-seeing eye in the pyramid – intellect, detail and follow-through), and St Germain (the infinity symbol – ceremony and group energy work).
By connecting to their energy we can allow that energy to “enlighten” our path forward. Remember always though that the decisions and actions you take based on this are yours and yours alone.
The Teachings of Abraham Well-being Cards
This is a glorious time for me to be on this earth!
You are an extension of Source energy, experiencing a physical reality. It is the physical that gives expression to the divine so embrace the mundane and physical with equal value as the divine.
The Psychic Tarot: Partnerships & Alliances:
You are starting to experience the fruits of your labours taking shape and blossoming. Watch out for synchronicities and new experiences, allow your intuition to guide you into ne connections.
Partnerships and alliances also need to include a fair exchange of energy from all parties. Look around – do you feel tired and drained every time you work with a person, if so there may be an uneven energy exchange going on – time to correct that or find new partners.
Psychic Tarot of the Heart: Helpless & Hopeless
Traditional Card: 8 of Swords: The 8 of Swords appeared previously in a different guise. When you feel helpless and hopeless it is usually because you are allowing others to dictate your thoughts, and you want to go one way, but the “right” way in their mind is opposite to where you want to go, so we have this “war” going on where we allow fear to immobilise us in indecision.
Time to stop that, make a choice and commit to it. You can always re-evaluate later if you need to.
You are not as trapped as it seems and fear is standing in your way. The only way to move forward is to face the fear and make the best choice for yourself right now.
This can be as simple as really listening to someone who has an opposing view, really listening to understand why they think the way they do, despite your friends telling you to avoid the person at all costs because they are your “enemy” or an “enemy of the cause”.
Truth stands on its own – it doesn’t need to be defended – when you have to be threatened by eternal punishment, cancel culture, or rejection if you do not conform – this is not based in truth, this is based in ego and control regardless of how “holy” the cause may appear at face value.
The World Is Too Much With Us
By William Wordsworth
The world is too much with us; late and soon,
Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers;—
Little we see in Nature that is ours;
We have given our hearts away, a sordid boon!
This Sea that bares her bosom to the moon;
The winds that will be howling at all hours,
And are up-gathered now like sleeping flowers;
For this, for everything, we are out of tune;
It moves us not. Great God! I’d rather be
A Pagan suckled in a creed outworn;
So might I, standing on this pleasant lea,
Have glimpses that would make me less forlorn;
Have sight of Proteus rising from the sea;
Or hear old Triton blow his wreathèd horn.
